Main cold water
A new mains cold water is routed from lower ground floor level into the pipe duct and then the basement level. The mains cold water is stored within A GRP water storage sectional tank in A new tank room Lower basement level. On demand the stored water under gravity will provide water to the booster set co-located in the same space. On leaving the booster set, booster cold water in then divided into two boosted mains, one for the (drinking) boosted cold water service and the other for (tank) boosted cold water service.
Air Conditioning
The area of the new cold-water storage tank will be temperature controlled with local operated and installed Split air conditioning units.
Electrical systems
The newly formed tank room and the storage/ electrical room next door are completed with all new containment, power supply, local distribution board, small power, lighting, lighting control and fire alarm. The main power supply for the air condition, booster set, and controls panel are supplied from this location.
Building management system
A new BMS control panel for the new main water tank and booster set linked to the University main facilities system, via a newly installed data network cable.
New electrical duct infrastructure
Four number 150mm ducts have been installed below ground from the EBRI building to the new feeder pillar located in Car Park 5. The route has service draw pits located at change of direction or as distance requires, five in total.

Using the new duct route a main power supply has been installed from EBRI to a new feeder pillar in car park 5.
